EAAA IPO Listing Close 2 Nov: Shares End 1.57% Up on Debut

EAAA India Alternatives made a quiet stock-market debut on Monday, 2 November 2026, but buyers who held through the session did better than the flat opening suggested. The stock listed at a small premium to its ₹1,665 issue price and closed higher on both exchanges, even as the day's other big IPO news came from the subscription table: Bombay Coated & Special Steels closed at roughly 63 times subscription, while Antala Industries scraped past full subscription at 1.12 times.

This evening round-up covers EAAA's listing-day close, the final subscription figures for the two IPOs that closed today, M.K. Sons Fine Jewels' allotment, and what to watch on Tuesday, 3 November.

EAAA listing day: flat open, stronger close

EAAA India Alternatives, the alternative investment platform of the Edelweiss group, listed at ₹1,675.50 on the NSE, a premium of 0.63% over the ₹1,665 issue price, and at ₹1,673 on the BSE, up 0.48%. By the close, the stock had improved on both bourses: ₹1,691.70 on the NSE (+1.57%) and ₹1,685.35 on the BSE (+1.22%), according to PTI's market report.

For an allotted investor, that means one lot of 9 shares — costing ₹14,985 at the issue price — was worth ₹15,079.50 at the NSE opening (a gain of ₹94.50 per lot) and ₹15,225.30 at the NSE close (a gain of ₹240.30 per lot). The grey market had pointed to a stronger debut, with morning GMP of around ₹52–65 (roughly 3–4%) implying a listing near ₹1,717–1,730, so the actual debut came in below grey-market expectations. GMP is unofficial market-reported data and is not a reliable predictor of listing prices.

The ₹1,200 crore IPO was entirely an offer for sale by the Edelweiss group, so the company itself received no fresh proceeds. It was subscribed 5.25 times overall (QIB 13.13x, NII 4.58x, retail 1.03x), with about ₹360 crore raised from anchor investors before the issue opened on 26 October and closed on 28 October. The price band was ₹1,585–1,665, and the company's market capitalisation stood at roughly ₹10,710 crore after listing.

Bombay Coated closes at about 63x; Antala just over 1x

Bombay Coated & Special Steels, the ₹183.06 crore mainboard IPO (100% fresh issue, ₹78–82 per share, lot of 182 shares), closed on 2 November with a surge of last-day institutional and HNI bidding. A 5:05 PM snapshot put overall subscription at 63.89 times — QIB 37.32x, NII 166.44x and retail 35.46x. Other trackers showed marginally lower totals (around 62–63x) depending on the snapshot time, so treat the final exchange figure as the definitive number when it is published. Either way, the close was a dramatic jump from the 3.78x level at which the issue stood going into the final day.

Antala Industries, the SME IPO, closed far more quietly at 1.12 times overall: QIB demand was strong at 66.72x, but retail subscription reached only about 0.42x and HNI demand stayed weak, leaving the issue only just fully subscribed. Its GMP was reported at around ₹0 (unofficial) on the final day.
